A formalized service offer is presented below as well as some of the instruments which can be mobilized individually according to your needs.
Design, development, assembly
We design, produce and assemble all types of optical and photonic devices in free space, based on optical fibers or integrated photonic circuits.
- Design and assembly of opto-mechanical systems (CAD, mechanical creations, optical alignments, calibration)
- Synthesis of massive glasses, at high and low temperatures, in a controlled environment.
- Preparation of vitreous samples (cutting, polishing)
- Welding, drawing, polishing, winding for all types of fiber (SMF, PM, etc.)
- Production of step-index, micro-structured, and multi-material fibers for low to moderate Tg materials (40°C-800°C)
- Additive manufacturing by 3D lithography on integrated photonic components and optical fibers
- Interfacing integrated photonic circuits with optical fibers
- Design and production of fiber optic systems (Interferometers, optical communication networks, etc.)
Optical characterizations
We have a very wide variety of techniques and instruments for the characterization and analysis of optical and photonic systems.
- Characterization of optical indices of bulk and thin layer materials, Verdet constant, nonlinear indices
- Absorption spectroscopy on bulk materials and in optical fibers
- Attenuation in optical fibers from 1 to 25 µm
- Spatial analysis (determination of M²) and spectral analysis of laser beams (400nm to 15µm)
- Spectral and temporal analysis of low photonic flux signals
- Photon counting and correlation
- Characterization of Integrated Photonic Components and optical fibers in telecom bands: analysis of guided modes, determination of the transfer function in amplitude and phase, determination of losses, GVD, nonlinear propagation
- Characterization of optical telecommunications signals (BER, eye diagram)
- Characterization of pulsed lasers (RF analysis, DFT, OSA, etc.)
Characterization of ultra-short pulses (autocorrelation, FROG, SPIDER, etc.) - Very high speed real-time generation and characterization up to 100GHz
- RF analysis up to 70GHz
- Optical reflectometry for the analysis of optical fibers
- White light/monochromatic phase shift optical profilometry
- Nonlinear microscopy (SHG, TPL, Raman, PL, etc.) in bright field or dark field with confocal, hypersectral, and time-resolved detection
